The Cowshed is a 2 bedroom holiday home providing luxury holiday accommodation in a dales village, North Yorkshire, with fully fitted handmade kitchen, and bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms. Heated towel rails, digital showers and full central heating and large living area with a wood burning stove are provided.
The bedrooms have super king or twin beds, or a combination of both. Rental includes cotton bed linen, fluffy towels and toiletries. A welcome basket is provided.
Outside is a small south facing garden with wonderful views over the dale. Car parking is available. Electric car charging from 13A socket by request.
Up to 2 well behaved dogs are welcome subject to prior arrangement.
The Cowshed is part of Holme Farm, the farmhouse and cowshed both being built in 1653, the oldest buildings in the village of Lofthouse. Holme Farm was built with a loft area for wool drying, hence the village being named Lofthouse. Holme Farm was originally a Friary occupied by lay monks working the lucrative wool industry in the Yorkshire Dales, and owned by Fountains Abbey.
